For owner, Rick Catts, fresh produce isn\u2019t just business\u2014it\u2019s a lifelong passion. From selling fruits and vegetables roadside as a kid to working at his first produce market at the age of 12, Rick has spent decades selecting the best farm-fresh goods for his community. In 1995, he opened his first market in Aiken, expanding his selection to include annual plants and seasonal favorites, like pumpkins and Christmas trees. In 2010, he launched Good Earth Produce & Garden Center in Augusta, offering an unmatched indoor farmers market experience. Good Earth Produce & Garden Center has become a community staple offering the Augusta area a local option for all their fresh produce, unique dried goods, beautiful houseplants, garden center plants and products, and more. Our market is filled to the brim with delicious fresh and local produce options, hand selected by owner Rick Catts himself. Rick has spent his career building great relationships with farmers all around the south, this has led to our ability to offer high quality produce to our community. Our produce is delivered all through out the week and graded daily to ensure the best quality possible for each of our guests. We strive to offer the best seasonal options, such as local strawberries and peaches in the Spring and Summer months, delivered fresh daily directly from local farms.\u00a0<\/p>

Since we first opened, our market has expanded immensely, allowing us to offer the Augusta community even more local goods. Beyond fresh produce, we also have a selection of quality jarred goods such as jams and pickled veggies, homemade frozen meals, local milks, and holistic beauty and health products too. We are always striving to offer our guests more high quality local goods and having an even more diverse selection to choose from. Our Garden Center is a heaven on Earth for avid gardeners. We carry a large selection of locally and in house grown perennials, annuals, trees, and shrubs. As the seasons change, our selection does too. This includes a variety of vegetable plants and colorful annuals in the Spring, fruit trees and mums in the Fall, and trees and shrubs all year long.<\/p>

While we may carry the best looking plants in Augusta, we don’t stop there! We also carry a large variety of fertilizers, soils, amendments, garden tools, and everything else you will need to ensure the success of your gardens. Our selection is always growing and changing as our Garden Center Manager seeks out new and better products to add to our offerings.\u00a0<\/p>

Here at Good Earth we are a\u00a0customer first\u00a0<\/em>establishment, meaning we coach each of our team members to make the customer their number one priority each day. This mentality extends to our Garden Center too. Our team members in the Garden Center are always happy to help you have the best experience possible. We don’t stop at just outdoor plants, we offer a wonderful selection of houseplants too! Our Houseplant Department is a wonderland for local plant lovers. Our selection includes your staple houseplants, such as Golden Pothos or Monstera Delicioas, to the much more rare selection like our Black Cardinal Variegated Philodendrons and Alocasia Macrorrhiza Variegated.<\/p>

Our large and unique selection is always growing and changing as our Houseplant Manager searches far and wide to bring the rarest and prettiest plants to you right here in Augusta. Our Houseplant Department also offers a variety of soils, amendments, plant tools, and everything else you’ll need to make sure your new plant baby thrives.\u00a0<\/p>
